The Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM) is a partner institution of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. FIMM is a joint venture of the University of Helsinki, the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS), the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Call for EPIET fellowship. The European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) call for fellows
for 2012 is now open. The programme, coordinated and funded by ECDC, will recruit 12
applicants for a two-year training in communicable disease field epidemiology. The aim of
the training is to enable the fellow to carry out activities related to the surveillance,
investigation and control of communicable disease threats. Deadline for application is 5 February 2012, at 24.00 CET.
Oulun yliopiston lääketieteellisessä tiedekunnassa toimivassa Suomen Akatemian solujen ja
soluväliaineen vuorovaikutuksen huippuyksikössä on haettavana projektipäällikön määräaikainen tehtävä. Tehtävän menestyksellinen hoitaminen edellyttää tohtorin tutkintoa biotieteiden tai
lääketieteen alalta sekä kokemusta tutkimusprojektien hallinnoinnista, kansainvälisen ja
kansallisen tiedehallinnon tuntemusta, oma-aloitteisuutta, yhteistyökykyä sekä hyvää suomen ja englannin kielen suullista ja kirjallista taitoa. Hakemuksen viimeinen jättöpäivä on maanantai 27.2.2012 klo 15.00.
